We toured a total of 12 local schools and went to 3. Medlock Bridge Montessori blew away our expectations. Our toddler is extraordinarily happy and comes home singing and telling us wonderful stories about her day, what she's learned, and her friends. If you want more details, feel free to reach out, but I can say we couldn't be happier with the all aspects of the program, school, and teachers.

If your child has any type of personality, this school isn't for you. Constant complaints about behavior (doesn't stand still in line, tugging on clothing during circle time, dancing and singing during work time -- this is a 3 year old, by the way). If your child is meek, timid, and the stepford type, this is a perfect choice for you. Seriously, if your child is a conformist, Montessori would be a great choice. If your child is a social butterfly, better off with a different type of school. Lesson learned for us after a long year. We didn't reenroll. Teachers were nice enough, but it was clear that most aren't comfortable dealing with children that don't conform.
